It's worth noticing what businesses tend to get anxious about before an independent verification evaluation, because it's rarely what you'd expect. Not revenue. Not size. Almost always: "will they think we're not established enough," or "will they judge us against businesses ten times our size."

That anxiety reveals a misunderstanding worth correcting: credibility and scale aren't the same axis. A small, three-person business run with total transparency and consistent professional standards can be more credible, by any structured measure, than a large one cutting corners quietly enough not to get caught. Verification frameworks that are worth anything measure conduct, not size.

Once that's understood, the process tends to feel less like a test to survive and more like a mirror,  a structured way of seeing whether the standards a business already holds itself to actually show up in practice, consistently, in ways a stranger could verify. For businesses already operating with integrity, that mirror is usually reassuring, not stressful. The badge, at the end, is just a way of letting other people see what the business already knew about itself.
